Hi, I'm Adam

I'm the director and owner of Squire Financial, which I established in 2020 to do financial advice the way I always believed it should be done — in plain English, built around real people, and genuinely on your side. I specialise in helping everyday families, people planning for retirement, and small and medium business owners protect and grow their wealth and plan for what comes next.

A bit about my experience

I've worked in financial services since 2001, including time with Industry Fund Financial Planning and more than a decade with NAB Financial Planning. During my time at NAB I was proud to be awarded the 2019 NABFP Quality Advice Award, and to be named one of four finalists for the 2018 NABFP Business Advocate Award. More than any award, though, what I love is the everyday work: helping people make better decisions about their money, and watching the difference it makes to their lives.

Qualifications & professional standing

I hold a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Tasmania and a Diploma of Financial Planning. I keep my knowledge up to date through ongoing professional development, so the advice I give reflects current strategy, legislation and product changes. Why I do this

Good financial advice can change the course of a family's life — but too often it's made to feel complicated, intimidating, or reserved for the wealthy. I don't believe that for a second. My job is to take something that feels overwhelming and make it simple, clear and achievable, so you can get on with living your life knowing your finances are pointed in the right direction.

A local, through and through

I've called Moonah home since 2009 — though my connection to the area runs deeper than that. My mum was born and raised here and went to the same local school my kids attend today, so we're three generations of this one community. My kids have grown up here, go to school locally, and play their soccer at the Glenorchy Knights — so when I say I know Hobart's northern suburbs, I really mean it.

When I'm not working, you'll usually find me spending time with my three boys, out on the golf course, listening to a good podcast, or on the sidelines watching the kids play sport with my wife Casey. I also stay involved off the field at my old cricket club, the Kingborough Knights.
